Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise software sales and drive customer engagement. Who you are

You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with major customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can effectively communicate both business benefits and technical details. Your strong team mentality means you understand that selling is a collaborative effort, and you excel at managing virtual resources to tackle complex sales cycles. You have a proven track record of exceeding quotas and are driven by the success of your team and customers.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory. You are skilled at presenting the value of technology solutions to decision-makers and can articulate the benefits of the Tanium platform in a way that resonates with diverse audiences. Your experience includes maintaining excellent pipeline management and accurately forecasting sales activities, ensuring that your sales development efforts are effective and aligned with company goals.

Desirable

Experience in conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads is a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce and maintaining SFDC hygiene will enhance your ability to manage sales processes effectively. You are also open to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects, further strengthening your relationships and understanding of their needs.

What you'll do

As the Director of Strategic Accounts at Tanium, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Your role will involve nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory, presenting to the C-suite the value of the Tanium platform, and working closely with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts.

You will generate appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management and accurately forecast sales, maintaining excellent SFDC hygiene. Conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects, ensuring that you are well-positioned to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
