Who you are

You have a strong background in the Japanese language, with excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for grammatical accuracy. Your familiarity with cultural nuances in Japanese allows you to evaluate language effectively. While a teaching background is preferred, experience in writing or teaching in Japanese is also valuable. You are comfortable with structured tasks, including preference ranking and prompt-response writing, which are essential for this role. You are detail-oriented and can provide refined, high-quality rewritten responses to enhance AI-generated content.

What you'll do

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, grammar, and cultural relevance, ensuring that the language models understand and generate Japanese effectively. You will identify issues in the AI's output and provide high-quality rewritten responses that reflect natural Japanese language use. Your tasks will include creating prompts and responses in Japanese to improve conversational datasets, collaborating with global teams to enhance AI language models. You will work on a flexible schedule, committing approximately 20 hours per week to this project, which lasts for four weeks starting on January 16, 2026.
