Key job responsibilities
This Data Engineer role is crucial to delivering strategic data integration initiatives and managing our evolving real estate data infrastructure. You'll spearhead key projects including data mart migrations, AI-enabled database creation, and integration enrichments. Working across multiple systems in a global environment, you'll implement and maintain data solutions that ensure accurate and timely data flow for lease administration and accounting. This position requires strong technical skills in AWS services, database management, and ETL processes, combined with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Technical expertise in data engineering is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of AWS services (including S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Glue), experience with SQL databases, and familiarity with ETL solutions. You'll be responsible for maintaining data pipelines between enterprise systems, implementing automated data quality checks, and contributing to the development of our AI-driven data solutions. The role requires someone who can assess technical challenges, propose solutions, and work collaboratively across teams to implement improvements. You should be capable of understanding technical constraints and business needs while following best practices for data governance and compliance.

LeaseTech manages and supports Amazon's global real estate lease administration technology infrastructure by providing standardized tools, training, and processes to ensure accurate lease accounting, payments, and reporting across business units and regions. Our team is responsible for integrating data from multiple enterprise sources to create a seamless and efficient lease management ecosystem. We're committed to continuous improvement and innovation in how we handle lease data management on a global scale.- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
