At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we’re hiring highly technical Associate Cloud Consultants to collaborate with our customers and partners on key engagements. Our consultants will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support implementation projects. Our team members work with enterprise customers locally, regionally and domestically. As such, this role has up to 75% travel associated. While many of our customers engage ProServe virtually, there is always the potential that a customer might choose to include travel in their contract.

You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) program, which focuses on the accelerated career development of university graduates and early career professionals. You will apply your deep technical expertise to solve cloud-based solutions at scale. You will guide customers through transforming their business with the combination of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools that deliver end-to-end applications and infrastructure solutions.

This program offers the opportunity to specialize in an area of interest including:

• DevOps - leaders in building advanced computing systems that harness continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and utilize the strengths of cloud computing to build scalable and economical systems for clients.

• Cloud Infrastructure Architect - experts in cloud-based networking and system rollouts. CIAs specialize in network performance, infrastructure provisioning, and building Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

• Application Developer - specialists in designing applications that run natively in the cloud. They are experts in building programs that run on any number of platforms including virtualized instances, containers, or server less architecture.

• Data & Analytics - supports our services that leverage data and produce business insights, which may include using Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI). Helping our customers use and integrate Big Data services in what is arguably our industry’s most exciting space. The portfolio of services covers EMR (Hadoop), DynamoDB (NoSQL), MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra.

• Security Consultant - supports our services that have a focus on enabling security specialists using AWS Services including Identity Access Management (IAM), GuardDuty, Shield, Key Management Service (KMS), CloudTrail, CloudHSM, Inspector etc.


Key job responsibilities
• Helping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
• Working as a technical specialist alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams
• Advising and implementing AWS best practices


About the team
AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our consultants will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support implementation projects. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

You will also have the opportunity to create white papers, writing blogs, build demos and other reusable collateral that can be used by our customers. Most importantly, you will work closely with our Solution Architects, Data Scientists and Service Engineering teams.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field with a conferral date within July 2023 to July 2025.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience of programming in languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, Node.js, or similar object-oriented language.
- Strong presentation, verbal communication, and written communications skills.- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $192,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
