Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with experience in cybersecurity solutions — you understand how to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and can effectively demonstrate product value to potential customers. Your ability to build relationships and trust with clients is paramount, as you will be working closely with them to understand their needs and challenges.

You thrive in a collaborative environment where you can work alongside sales, customer success, and technical teams — your experience in cross-functional collaboration allows you to effectively contribute to the overall success of the sales process. You are driven by results and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Your technical acumen is complemented by excellent communication skills — you can articulate the benefits of Zscaler's cloud-native Zero Trust Exchange platform and how it addresses customer pain points. You are comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone understands the value proposition.

You are adaptable and can quickly learn new technologies and industry trends — your curiosity drives you to stay updated on the latest developments in cybersecurity and cloud solutions. You are passionate about helping customers navigate their digital transformation journeys and are committed to delivering exceptional service.

Desirable

Experience with cloud security solutions or a background in IT security would be advantageous — familiarity with Zscaler's offerings or similar products will help you hit the ground running. A strong network within the cybersecurity industry can also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Zscaler, you will play a critical role in the sales process by providing technical expertise and support to the sales team — you will engage with potential customers to understand their requirements and demonstrate how Zscaler's solutions can meet their needs.
