Amazon is hiring a DSP Engineer for their Digital RF Systems team to work on Low Earth Orbit satellite technology. You'll design DSP algorithms and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize RF performance. This role requires expertise in DSP and wireless communication systems.
You have a strong background in digital signal processing (DSP) and wireless communication systems, with experience in designing and modeling DSP algorithms. You are familiar with RF impairments and have a solid understanding of how to develop compensation algorithms for RF transceivers. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-disciplinary teams, including ASIC/RFIC designers and software engineers. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for optimizing solutions based on system-level constraints such as power and cost. You are passionate about innovative product solutions and eager to contribute to projects that provide high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining DSP architecture and designing DSP blocks used in wireless communication systems. You will implement end-to-end system models, including fixed-point DSP blocks and RF impairments, to support the development of phased array systems for satellite communication. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive key aspects of silicon design, validation, and RF performance optimization. Your work will involve modeling RF transceiver impairments and developing algorithms to compensate for these impairments, ensuring high throughput and low latency for users. You will engage with experienced engineers to conceive and design innovative solutions that meet the needs of the Amazon Leo initiative.
