Overview

Zscaler is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to drive customer engagement and support the sales process. You'll work closely with customers to demonstrate the value of Zscaler's cloud security solutions. This role requires strong technical acumen and experience in sales engineering.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a technical sales role. You possess excellent communication skills and can articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your ability to build relationships and trust with customers is paramount, as you will be their trusted advisor in navigating Zscaler's solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

You are driven by results and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Your technical expertise in cybersecurity and cloud solutions enables you to effectively address customer needs and challenges. You are adaptable and can quickly learn new technologies and solutions, ensuring you stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. You are passionate about helping customers achieve their goals and are committed to delivering exceptional service.

Desirable

Experience with cloud security solutions or a background in cybersecurity is highly desirable. Familiarity with Zscaler's products and services will give you an edge in understanding customer requirements and positioning the right solutions. A technical degree or relevant certifications in cybersecurity or cloud technologies will further enhance your candidacy.

What you'll do

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Zscaler, you will play a critical role in the sales process by providing technical expertise and support to the sales team. You will engage with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Zscaler's solutions can address their challenges. You will conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof of concepts to showcase the value of our offerings. Your ability to translate technical features into business benefits will be key in persuading customers to choose Zscaler.

You will collaborate closely with the sales team to develop strategies for customer engagement and success. This includes participating in sales calls, responding to RFPs, and providing technical input during negotiations. You will also work with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding process and ongoing support for customers after the sale.

Your role will involve staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and Zscaler's product roadmap. You will provide feedback to the product team based on customer interactions and insights, helping to shape future product development. You will also contribute to the creation of technical documentation and sales enablement materials to support the sales team.
