Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Design Verification Engineer to develop next-generation ASICs for space and ground infrastructures. You'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and work on cutting-edge technologies. This role requires expertise in ASIC design and validation.

Who you are

You have a strong background in ASIC design and verification, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise in validation processes and methodologies allows you to ensure that designs meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You are proactive and intellectually curious, always seeking to improve processes and outcomes. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including firmware, architecture, and product engineering, makes you an invaluable asset to any project. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems.

Desirable

Experience with satellite communication systems or aerospace applications is a plus. Familiarity with industry-standard verification tools and methodologies will enhance your contributions to the team. A background in software development, particularly in firmware, will help you bridge the gap between hardware and software design. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and can adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

What you'll do

As a Senior Design Verification Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans for next-generation ASICs. You will collaborate closely with design engineers to understand the specifications and requirements of the chips being developed. Your role will involve creating testbenches, writing test cases, and performing simulations to validate the functionality and performance of the designs.
