Amazon is hiring an IT Support Engineer I to provide technical support for their LEO IT Services. You'll work with Windows, Linux, and macOS systems, ensuring operational efficiency across various infrastructures. This position is suitable for entry-level candidates.
You are an entry-level IT Support Engineer with a foundational understanding of technical support processes. You have experience working with Windows, Linux, and macOS systems, and you are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently is key to maintaining operational efficiency. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a positive work environment. You are comfortable providing remote support and are adaptable to changing business needs. You understand the importance of following standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
In this role, you will process tickets to triage and resolve customer issues, ensuring timely and effective support. You will provision, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and macOS workstations, as well as bare-metal servers. Your responsibilities will include configuring and replacing network infrastructure such as switches, routers, and firewalls. You will provide technical support for LEO production, lab, and launch infrastructure, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly. Additionally, you will participate in the hiring, training, and development of new team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help others succeed. You will also perform scheduled maintenance and system updates to keep all technology systems up to date and functioning optimally.
