Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Principal Design Verification Engineer to develop next-generation ASICs for space and ground infrastructures. You'll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and leverage your expertise in validation and design. This role requires significant experience in engineering and ASIC development.

Who you are

You are a motivated and proactive engineer with extensive experience in design verification and ASIC development. With a strong background in systems engineering, you have a proven track record of working alongside cross-disciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your intellectual curiosity drives you to explore innovative technologies and methodologies in the field of silicon engineering. You possess a deep understanding of validation processes and have successfully contributed to the development of complex systems in previous roles. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to tackle challenges that push the boundaries of technology.

Desirable

Experience with satellite communication systems or broadband technologies would be a plus. Familiarity with software development processes and tools is also advantageous, as it complements your engineering expertise. What you'll do

As a Principal Design Verification Engineer at SpaceX, you will play a critical role in the development of next-generation ASICs that enable connectivity in previously underserved areas. You will collaborate with systems, firmware, architecture, and product engineering teams to ensure that the designs meet rigorous performance and reliability standards. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing validation plans, identifying potential issues early in the design process, and providing feedback to improve design quality. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth and development.

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of ASIC development, from initial concept through to deployment in space and ground infrastructures. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Starlink project, helping to provide fast and reliable internet to millions of users worldwide.
