SpaceX is seeking a Principal Design Verification Engineer to develop next-generation ASICs for space and ground infrastructures. You'll work with cross-disciplinary teams to enhance connectivity solutions. This role requires expertise in ASIC design and validation.
You are a motivated and proactive engineer with a strong background in design verification and ASIC development. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, you have a deep understanding of validation processes and methodologies. You thrive in cross-disciplinary teams, collaborating with systems, firmware, architecture, and product engineering to deliver innovative solutions. Your intellectual curiosity drives you to explore cutting-edge technologies and their applications in real-world scenarios. You are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to projects that have a significant impact on global connectivity.
Experience with satellite communication systems or broadband technologies is a plus. Familiarity with software development processes and tools will enhance your ability to work effectively with firmware and software teams. A background in aerospace or related industries will be beneficial as you navigate the complexities of space-based systems.
In this role, you will lead the design verification efforts for next-generation ASICs that are critical for SpaceX's Starlink project. You will develop and implement verification plans, ensuring that all designs meet rigorous performance and reliability standards. Collaborating closely with design and validation teams, you will identify potential issues early in the development process and drive solutions to mitigate risks. Your work will involve creating test benches, running simulations, and analyzing results to validate design functionality. You will also participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations based on your verification findings.
