Sophos is seeking a Senior Channel Account Executive to drive partner recruitment and revenue growth. This role requires over 5 years of sales experience in the IT industry, with no specific security experience necessary.
You have over 5 years of sales experience in the IT industry, demonstrating a strong ability to build relationships and drive revenue growth. Your proactive approach to partner recruitment and onboarding will be key to your success in this role. You understand the importance of collaboration within a channel team and are eager to contribute to the overall business strategy. While specific security experience is not required, a keen interest in cybersecurity solutions will help you thrive in this position.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with potential partners and articulate the value of Sophos' advanced security solutions. Your ability to qualify and onboard new partners will be crucial in driving net-new and cross-sell revenue. You are results-oriented and motivated by achieving sales targets, with a track record of success in similar roles.
Experience in the cybersecurity industry or familiarity with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services will be advantageous. A background in working with reseller partners, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), or Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning about Sophos' comprehensive portfolio of security solutions, including endpoint, network, email, and cloud security.
In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Channel Sales to develop and execute strategies for recruiting and onboarding new partners. Your primary focus will be on driving net-new revenue and cross-selling opportunities within the existing partner network. You will engage with potential partners to understand their needs and demonstrate how Sophos' solutions can address their cybersecurity challenges.
You will be responsible for qualifying new partners and ensuring they are equipped to effectively sell Sophos' products and services. This includes providing training and support to help them understand the value proposition of Sophos' advanced security solutions. You will also collaborate with internal teams to align partner strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to market growth.
As you build relationships with partners, you will monitor their performance and provide ongoing support to help them achieve their sales targets. Your insights and feedback will be valuable in refining partner programs and enhancing the overall partner experience. You will also stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position Sophos in the market.
