Appen is seeking a Remote Composer & Arranger for an AI Music Training Project. You'll create original music to help improve AI's music capabilities, requiring strong knowledge of music theory and composition skills.
You are a native Japanese speaker with a strong knowledge of music theory — your understanding of musical structures and styles allows you to create compositions that resonate with both human listeners and AI systems. You have experience in music composition and arrangement, showcasing your ability to craft original pieces that meet specific guidelines and requirements. Your proficiency in playing instruments such as piano or guitar enhances your creative process, enabling you to bring diverse musical elements into your work. You are comfortable following instructions and training materials provided in English, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project. A bachelor's degree or higher in music is preferred, reflecting your formal education in the field.
In this role, you will help teach AI to create music by composing and arranging original pieces based on provided examples and musical guidelines. Your work will involve creating music that matches specific styles and requirements, contributing to the development of AI's ability to understand and generate music. You will follow detailed instructions and training materials to ensure that your compositions align with the project's goals. Throughout the project, you will collaborate with other team members to refine AI music capabilities, providing feedback and insights based on your musical expertise.
