Amazon is hiring a Senior Construction Manager to oversee project management for new building planning, design, and construction. You'll work with AutoCAD and AWS to develop the North American facility network. This role requires significant experience in construction management.
You have 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in project management and facility design. You are skilled in analyzing and evaluating different facility scenarios and build-out designs, ensuring that projects meet both technical and operational requirements. Your expertise includes construction engineering, planning, and contract management, allowing you to navigate complex projects effectively. You are comfortable with regional travel and can adapt to working from a corporate office when not on-site. You understand the importance of standardizing technical processes and systems to enhance efficiency across projects.
Experience with AWS and AutoCAD is a plus, as these tools will be integral to your role in managing construction projects. Familiarity with the North American fulfillment network and its operational requirements will help you excel in this position.
In this role, you will oversee the construction engineering and planning for Amazon's North American facility network. You will be responsible for managing new fulfillment network buildings and additional capacity requirements within existing facilities. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will analyze different facility scenarios and support the development of new sites, ensuring that all designs meet Amazon's high standards for efficiency and functionality.
