Amazon is hiring a Capacity Configuration Expert to optimize space management across AMET FCs. You'll be responsible for auditing capacity configurations and managing launch capacity for various sites. Job Description

Who you are

You have at least 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications, which you have used to support operational tasks effectively. Your background includes experience in Industrial Engineering or Business Process, giving you a solid foundation in optimizing workflows and processes. You are comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and you have a strong affinity for shop-floor operations. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced environment, and you are committed to continuous improvement and innovation.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the AMET Space Management team, where you will drive optimized space management across AMET fulfillment centers. You will audit any capacity configuration mismatches, ensuring that the ACMS aligns with the bin configurations and addressing any physical and virtual discrepancies. You will evaluate, approve, and execute bin configuration and ACMS configuration change requests from Inbound and Space Subject Matter Experts. Additionally, you will manage the launch capacity and container configuration for AFT/AFT-X sites that are launching or expanding, ensuring that all configurations are accurate and effective.
