Overview

Careem is seeking a Product Manager II for their Grocery Fulfillment team to enhance supply chain and inventory management. You'll collaborate with engineers and operations to build a real-time supply chain engine. This role requires experience in product management and a strong understanding of logistics.

Who you are

You have a solid background in product management, ideally with experience in supply chain and inventory management. You understand the complexities of logistics and have a knack for optimizing processes to enhance operational efficiency. Your analytical skills allow you to make data-driven decisions that positively impact product availability and minimize wastage. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. You are passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and improve user experiences. You are adaptable and open to learning, especially in the rapidly evolving field of AI and its applications in supply chain management.

Desirable

Experience with AI applications in logistics or supply chain management would be a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for product management can enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in quick-commerce or e-commerce platforms would also be beneficial, as it aligns with Careem's mission to simplify and improve people's lives through technology.

What you'll do

As a Product Manager II, you will own the roadmap and execution for core replenishment and inventory orchestration. Your mission is to build a real-time, intelligent supply chain engine that maximizes product availability while minimizing wastage. You will collaborate with engineers, operations, and planners to tech-enable one of the most logistically complex businesses at Careem. You will define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You will conduct user research to understand pain points and identify opportunities for improvement. You will analyze metrics to measure the success of your initiatives and iterate on your strategies based on feedback and data. You will lead cross-functional meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed about product developments. You will stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the product and its impact on the business.
