You have a strong background in compliance and regulatory affairs, ideally with experience in e-commerce or logistics. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively liaise with government authorities and stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Your ability to track and report compliance statuses will be crucial in ensuring that Amazon meets all regulatory requirements in the UAE. You are proactive and can anticipate compliance challenges, providing solutions before issues arise. You understand the importance of maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and service providers to facilitate the issuance of licenses and permits.
In this role, you will assist the compliance lead in managing Amazon Now's compliance with local authorities' requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that new business setups for launches are compliant and that all regulatory requirements are tracked and reported in a timely manner. You will act as a liaison with various government authorities, including the Economic Department and Municipalities, to expedite the issuance of necessary licenses and permits. Your role will involve monitoring compliance permits and reporting their status to leadership, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of compliance progress. You will also collaborate with wider AMET markets to align compliance strategies and share best practices. Your ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes will be essential in supporting Amazon's growth in the Quick Commerce sector.
