Overview

Trendyol is seeking a Head of Marketplace Expansion to lead seller growth strategy across the Gulf region. You'll define the roadmap for scaling the seller base and diversifying product selection. This senior role requires strategic leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You have a proven track record in marketplace expansion and seller growth strategies, ideally within the e-commerce sector. Your strategic mindset allows you to define and execute roadmaps that drive significant growth and enhance seller experiences. You possess strong leadership skills, enabling you to inspire and guide cross-functional teams towards achieving common goals. Your ability to analyze market trends and local needs ensures that your strategies are both innovative and effective. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with various stakeholders to align objectives and drive results. You are data-driven, using insights to inform decisions and measure success. You understand the dynamics of the Gulf region and can navigate its unique challenges and opportunities.

Desirable

Experience in tech tool development for marketplace platforms would be a plus. Familiarity with the GCC market and its vendors will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in data analysis and strategic planning will help you excel in driving marketplace initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the marketplace expansion strategy for Trendyol across the Gulf region. You will define the roadmap to scale the seller base, ensuring that our platform becomes the preferred destination for both regional and international vendors. You will collaborate with local market teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable strategies. Your leadership will empower teams to develop tech tools and processes that enhance seller experiences and drive growth. You will analyze market trends and seller feedback to continuously refine our approach and ensure we remain competitive. You will serve as a bridge between local market needs and our central marketplace teams, facilitating communication and alignment on objectives. Your role will involve regular reporting on progress and outcomes, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the expansion efforts. You will also mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
