Shopmonkey is seeking a Sales Development Manager to lead their inbound sales strategy and manage a team of sales professionals. This role requires a proven track record in sales development and team coaching, with a focus on optimizing lead conversion rates.
You have at least 2 years of experience in sales or sales development, particularly within the SaaS industry. Your background includes a consistent record of quota attainment and performance growth, demonstrating your ability to drive results. You possess strong coaching skills, enabling you to effectively mentor both new and existing sales representatives, fostering their development and success.
You are adept at developing and implementing strategies that attract and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities. Your experience includes optimizing lead qualification processes and improving sales conversion rates through the effective use of sales tools and technologies. You stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, allowing you to adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
In this role, you will own the responsibility of developing and implementing strategies to attract and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities. You will collaborate closely with marketing teams to align inbound sales strategies with ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives. Coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing inbound sales team will be a key focus, as you set performance metrics and monitor the team's performance.
You will provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and results, identifying trends and insights to optimize sales strategies and improve overall performance. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a motivated and effective sales team that meets and exceeds targets. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and market conditions, ensuring that your strategies are relevant and effective.
