Box is seeking a Revenue Technical Accountant to serve as a key resource for revenue recognition and compliance. You'll collaborate with various teams to analyze contracts and ensure adherence to accounting standards. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and experience in technical accounting.
You have a solid background in technical accounting, ideally with experience in revenue recognition and compliance. You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex accounting issues. Your interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Sales Ops, and Rev Ops. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable engaging with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
In this role, you will partner with various departments to serve as the accounting focal point on revenue recognition and contract structuring. You will review revenue contracts to ensure compliance with accounting standards and perform technical accounting analysis on complex transactions. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Legal and Sales teams to address any accounting-related inquiries and providing guidance on revenue recognition policies. You will also contribute to the development of accounting processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. As part of your role, you will stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure that the company adheres to best practices in technical accounting.
